Still Life With Ice (Sunday 22nd January 2023)

I have brought this bowl indoors from the Front Yard. The drain hole at the bottom does not seem to be blocked although it is frozen, but the block of ice on its surface hasn't drained away. I poured some warmish water over it yesterday, not wishing to scorch the leaves, but it just froze. It's standing in a deep tray now and I'm hoping room temperature will gradually thaw it out.

The latest in Dylan's ongoing official Bootleg series will be Vol. 17, Fragments, released later this month, and extracts from the 5CD version (at over £120!) are beginning to appear online. The discs all explore the songs on the 1997 album Time Out Of Mind. This early version of Not Dark Yet is taken at a faster pace and has several different verses.
