Hartsop above How

Spikes packed, Crampons packed, Ice Axes packed - all ready. 

Down to Brotherswater and "walked" up to Hartsop above How  LOTS of ice, pretty windy too. out intended route was going to take us on to Hart Crag, Dove Crag and High Hartsop Dodd, but the whole walk is pretty rough, and was in thick cloud. We decided to play it safe and retraced our route back to Brotherswater (still icy) and get home safely to be able to go out with friends for dinner in the evening.
