Start 'em young..

and they do. It's a very popular activity with local and visiting families.  It's a long time since we've been to this, the main carparking area and entry to the Whakarewarewa Forest  which is on the opposite side of town to where we live. We have other access points very close to home.  There  180km of spectacular tracks in the forest,  catering for all ages and capabilities with lots of flat family friendly rides to very steep downhills for the idiots   most experienced riders.  I did enjoy watching these little ones enjoying themselves over the bumps,  a few 'offs' but no tears.
