Carolina

Before Christmas, I wrote about a procedure I would be having on my lower back but it wasn’t scheduled until January. On Christmas Eve, I heard from blip friend Carolina, who generously offered to drive me to the appointment today. She and hubby spend a few months in the area visiting family. She takes awesome desert photos, btw.

It was great to see her again. She’s such a genuinely kind person. We didn’t get to spend much time together but it was nice to give her my mini tour when she got me home.

I was out of the Pain Center in an hour. In the meantime, she took the short drive to Canoa Ranch where she got some beautiful shots.

PS The procedure was called a lumbar medial branch block. It’s diagnostic and I will have it again in a month. My back feels good.
