White breasted nuthatch

Today was a cloudy cool day, I was able to get out to the lake this morning for about a 1/2 hour to feed the birds. I was not disappointed with the number of visitors see my extra shots. I had the white breasted nuthatch stop by several times for peanuts. So I had 3 different types of birds coming for peanuts plus the downy woodpecker took a couple of tries at the had but did not land.  The was juncos around cardinals and blue jays and of course squirrels .

Today is also Squirrel appreciation day.
