Fruta loca

I ventured out to a little Mexican store today to get this fruit dish seasoned with chili sauce for a class I'm teaching tomorrow.  The topic of the lesson includes some cultural customs, and I'm reminded of the Mexican cuisine we got used to when we lived in Texas. 
It's a good thing I speak a little Spanish because I don't think anyone there spoke English.
