One Noble Journey

Written and performed by this man, Mike Wiley  It chronicled the journey of one man, Henry “Box” Brown, A slave who escaped slavery in the south when his wife and children were sold to a different “family” with no hopes of seeing them again. He decided to escape and did it in the box he is leaning against and shipped to Philadelphia. Mr Wiley included the audience in the performance and told the story masterfully poignantly and with humor where he could. Great show.
