Portencross

There was no frost last night, and the temperature was a little higher at 4C.  First thing in the morning after breakfast we did our food shop.  It was a good time to go as M&S were quiet, and also the supermarket was not too busy so we got around quickly.

Home to bacon rolls, and then we wanted a trip to the coast, and had a walk at Portencross.  The sea was rough and lots of big breakers, but I didn't manage to catch a good photo of the waves and the ruin of Portencross Castle together.  We had a good walk along the pathway at the castle although it was very windy and quite cold.

It was lovely to have tea and a toasted teacake afterwards.
