Timber and shellfish

A very different day today. Woke up to a dull and drizzly morning so instead of our planned Saturday morning walk downtown to buy fish and visit the library we took the car!

On the way back we parked at the North Pier so Mrs M could visit Specsavers and while she was away I took some pictures, all rather gloomy ones I'm afraid!

My Blip today is of the same ship as the day before yesterday, in very different conditions. She has a deck cargo of timber, waiting to come off, I suppose.

There were two men down on the beach poking around in the seaweed, collecting shellfish, I imagine, but I don't know which kind! One of them is my extra today.
