Nuts!

Yeovil’s home game was postponed just an hour and a quarter before kick off this afternoon due to the pitch still being frozen. Fortunately we waited until the outcome of the pitch inspection was known before setting off but obviously it was far too late for the Altrincham fans who had been travelling down from Manchester this morning. To make matters worse, apparently both managers and players thought the pitch was OK to play on but the ref disagreed. There really ought to be more consideration for fans who spent hard-earned money  for coach fares or petrol that they won’t get back.

In lieu of football we went for a stroll on Street Hill where this squirrel was refuelling during its search for nuts.

Earlier we were back at Park Run with the temperature at -4 and very frosty conditions underfoot. We must be nuts! Mind you, we all managed to run much quicker than of late!
