I wanted to play with some flowers today but didn't manage to get down to the local grower on the market before he'd packed up for the day. He's only recently returned to work following a nasty accident where his van's handbrake failed and ran him over, breaking his leg very badly.
Luckily, when I popped into the supermarket, they had some British tulips. Not as good as locally grown but at least they didn't have to be flown in.
