Little Women

I’m joining Squatbetty’s Love Blippin’ Books challenge. January was read a book you liked in the past. I loved Little Women at the time but it’s so dated. I thought being an invalid was romantic as a child so I liked Beth in the book. There seemed to be a lot of books like that then. Little Women is so saccharine, all the characters are practically saints. They must have altered it for the film which I haven’t seen. I should have read The Secret Garden instead, although that has an invalid boy in it .
