Tribal

Following my being responsible for a stone chip in Angie's brand new Qashqai, the insurance company insisted it was repaired by a windscreen replacement company. That went OK except they were unable to recalibrate all the cameras & radar devices mounted in the windscreen as it was all too new, and they didn't have the equipment & software yet to do it.

She complained to the insurance company as the delay i doing the calibration was now weeks and meant none of the driver assistance systems could be used. They have now given her permission to get the Nissan dealer to do the work.

So today she was up at dawn to take the car to Memmingen and was given a loaner for the half day. Wish I could keep it to replace my tribal 1998 VW Polo which has as good as died out. With a lot of huffing & puffing, I can just about drive the 5km to the shops & GP. I wouldn't trust it for the 20km to Memmingen.
