Canada Gate Under Repair, Green Park, London

I took today's image on the way to work. Canada Gate is/was a ceremonial entrance to Green Park and is often stunning on a winter's morning when lit by the low sun. I loved how it looked with it's scaffold skeleton and I was lucky that one or two of the construction staff were up and about when I took the image. The gates were covered in this sheeting that added a lovely softness to the light that streamed through them and it really created a dream like quality to what I saw before me.
I'll amend my blip tomorrow with more detail but after my first busy day at work since I've been back I'm feeling a wee bit tired and in need of a good sleep!
