Better weather

Today was better than the forecast. We'd had ice forecast for overnight / earl,y morning but there was none. The washing dried well outside. The temperature managed to get up to 6C - balmy weather compared to what we've had recently! Look at that sky.
Did the weekly Tesco shop and filled up with petrol. Had to queue ages for petrol as the bloke in front sat in his car for ages after he was ready to go! There was a transit van in front of him and I'd kept back so the car drive could reverse then pass the van but he didn't seem confident that he could get through between the van and a car to the right - despite seeing a larger car than his go through unscathed!
The crocuses have pushed through in our garden and are showing colour but not yet open. A lot of bulbs have stems a few inches above the ground now. Spring feels to be around the corner. Lets hope so.
Finished the lates Karen Swan book - The Christmas Secret - it's one of her best. One of those you hate to put down.
