First snow in the village

I woke up this morning hoping it had not snowed as that would mean yet another tennis cancellation. The village looked pretty though and I walked up to the street above to take a picture. The sun came out later but there was not much of a thaw. I walked down to the supermarket but the pavements were treacherous and I had to walk on the road and step back on the pavement when cars came. With steep slopes abounding, getting about can be difficult. At one point I started sliding and slid about five metres downhill before grabbing something to stop myself. Fortunately, I have good balance and did not fall over. That must be left over from ice skating days!
