A few weeks ago we got some new child manequins for apparel fitting. Amazing wee things with pin-able skins and magentized positionable arms, heads etc. There are four sizes (age groups) and that's all good.

But

The bodies are separate from the heads by what you might describe as a slightly greater than anatomically correct amount and I have to say, they wierd me out. It looks like a row of, um, of, um. Well, it's not great.

Sitting on the floor I could almost imagine them like an alien visitor, gazing over our culture with an inscruitable air.

As the heads are also removable, there are more than a usual number of Shakesperian quotes floating about...
