Camera Club Competition Time.

The 3rd of our print competitions in a series of 4 will be judged today and it was the usual scramble to chose,  get printed and mount 4 entries - 2 mono & 2 colour.  Time available was severely cut down by the annual January Birthday Girl's  "all-dayer".  On the WhatsApp thingy it all got a bit competitive as to how much food would be brought along.  Suffice it to say nobody starved!  Been going about 6 or so years,  now at least 10 participants, and started off as a breakfast meet up  and that tradition still in place but late afternoon/ early evening is not uncommon as going home time for some.  I called a halt at 4 o'clock as had to finish off mounting my prints and appear sensible at Camera Club in the evening!  Think I got away with it but was amused when a club member asked if I minded picking him up as he had been at a rather heavy lunch.  I agreed but didn't mention that I came home from my "breakfast" at 4 in the afternoon.
