Flower Friday
I picked these lilies yesterday as they were climbing up through a shrub into the neighbour’s place. They look pretty and smell a bit like frangipani flowers.
Today I dug up two big clumps of Algerian Iris ( winter isis or iris unguicularis). I planted them under the elm tree when we first moved here. The elm is long gone and now there is a rotary clothes line and other plants in that spot. It took some digging and in the end I used a heavy mattock. They are marvellous plants but need a bigger garden than what I have now.
The dogs have been good but have a spat once a day trying to work out who is boss. Onken is only just a year old so is still a bit of a pest and has energy to burn. Luna does a lot of growling and gets sick of the constant attention. On the whole they are great together.
