You'll Never Ever Fade

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

At Kiwibank we had three meetings today. One of which was about how amazing the level of staff engagement was and yay us. The second was a BA bonding session with a quiz and also yay us. The third was a BA "fireside chat" about yay us. 

Eff me sideways.

But it's okay. It's not like these meetings are stressful. I feel like I am only working part-time at present. You know. There are worse things. 

And Caro and me had a really nice day. She stayed in bed with DG until 2pm. Then she got up and I made her "breakfast" and after my last happy-clappy meeting of the day, we went out. There were a few things we needed to pick up from the store. 

Afterward we went to the beach to laugh at the man covered in all the seagulls. Caro paddled into the ocean and I threatened to pee on her if she stood on a jellyfish. Then we picked up fish and chips and listened to a Spotify playlist in her car.

It's an idyllic life at times. And I've never seen Caro so happy. Just look at that face. I don't know what happens next, but moments like this never fade.

PARTY PANDEMIC UPDATE: No increase in numbers today, but apparently Caro's friend Che was feeling a bit dodgy at the start of the week. So we could be up to 13.
