We traveled to Boulder today, the home of Stephanie, Elizabeth, and Dick’s alma mater. The campus is beautiful any time of year, but today after a snowstorm was especially picturesque. Unfortunately, Dick somehow came down with influenza A and has been flat on his back all day. He’s got a fever, body aches, headache, and extreme fatigue which doesn’t really coincide with downhill skiing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. I could be doing a lot on my own this week.  
Grateful for….a chance to get out in the fresh air this afternoon and do a little shopping. The storm yesterday dropped the most snow in January in the last 31 years and today people still seemed to be staying home. That made for extra good shopping.
