Morning Colours

Henri joined us on the golf course for the first time this year, having recovered from the flu bug that laid him low, and promptly beat us out of sight.

I’m afraid I’ve blipped the pond at the 4th again but the sky was really rather gorgeous in the frosty conditions.

After that it was our new Thursday routine of collecting Sophie from school for her dance rehearsal. Her year group had spent the day in the company of a visiting educator called Mr Egypt who ran a whole series of activities about the Ancient Egyptians, which is their current history project. She’d thoroughly enjoyed it and spent the journey home regaling us with the fascinating things she’d learnt.

Kate joined us for dinner and was given a similar detailed account!
