Bleak outlook

Apologies for poor photo.  This was taken on my way back from the nature reserve.
I took the coffee, tea and biscuits etc to the Green Gym, but thought it sensible to come back into a warm house, rather than breathe in the icy air outdoors.  Voice slowly returning.  Interesting to find out that there are several people with a similar affliction.
My friend brought the cups back to me for washing ready for next week.  Apparently they were trying to repair some hedge laying but the cold made it very difficult.
Have got some beef skirt bubbling away in the slow cooker and washing all up to date.
Being confined to barracks does have some advantages.
Window cleaner came so I was also shamed into cleaning the inside of the windows where small handprints from the family gathering at Christmas were clearly visible in the sunshine.
