Grey Day Grass

Away from the water, all the snow has melted now. This is very unusual. In previous years there has always been snow because temperatures rarely rise above freezing in the winter months and even when there is no new snowfall. In the marsh on a grey day, a patch of dried grass provides some colour at least. I liked the contrast against the dark vegetation and water behind.
