1st trip of the season

Opening day is combat fishing day at Meikleour with the beat open to the public to fish for a donation with no restrictions on the number of bank anglers.

Today was the first proper day of the season for fishing at Meikleour and I had the boat booked for today and tomorrow. Sadly my Pal Mark is down with the bug that’s doing the rounds so it was just me fishing with my pal Calum the head Ghillie there. Cracking day.
