Friendly face

I like green men & other sprites. This gentleman resides in the hall, near the front door. My mum gave him a little gilding many years ago, and he seemed to like the bit of sparkle. 

Today was a busy work day, with some sad & stressful news from different sources. This comfortable smile was a reminder that life can still have that bit of sparkle too.
