Sun and snow

A bit of frost on the roofs and some of the shrubs  but the sun was shining. 
We decided on a local walk up to the Sea wall and along by the marsh. Out of the icy wind the sun felt quite warm.

Back home and a friend posted a photo taken 8 miles away where it had snowed and it was great and overcast.  

Then about 2:30 it started snowing here. Quite a surprise  as we rarely get it so close to the coast. It didnt snow for long and the sun came out for a while but it was cold enough to decide against a teatime walk. 

Blip is of a tiny Caterpillar  on the barn door this morning .
