Frost

It was very cold overnight and we had even more frost again this morning. This is the frost on my lawn early this morning, and during the day it has not melted in areas that are in the shade.

The woods were also very frosty, and in the extra you can see Xena standing on a little pond - more of a large puddle - that has frozen solid. She knows not to go onto a frozen pond but somehow went on this as I think she knows it in not deep if the ice had to break. 

I had my ladies golf clinic again, I am really struggling to hit my driver so have booked a private 30 minute lesson with my coach on the weekend. We are always lucky to have sunshine when we have our session, I thought I would be very cold but the driving range bays get warm from the sun. The adjoining golf course was actually closed today as the ground was frozen solid.

I am about to get the train to London. For Gavin's birthday last year, Luke and Meriel bought him tickets to see Mandela the musical at the Young Vic theatre - they are also joining us and we will all meet at the theatre as they will come straight from work.
