Callow End

Thank you everyone who sent us congratulations on the recent award news about our podcast series of the Diary of the war. We couldn't have achieved this acclaim without the Blipfoto community!

Today’s blip represents Callow End. Callow End is just a little over 5 miles away from Lorna’s family home in Malvern and was a target (most likely unintentional) for German bombs on 17th November 1940, as reported in Lorna’s war diary entry of the following day.

A good friend of the Platform to Platform project, who we shall call ‘Secret blipper’, sent us this shot a couple of days ago for our online photo album of locations mentioned in Lorna Lloyd's Diary of the war (previously blipped in full in the LornaL journal, and now available as a podcast series). As ever, we send out our call to any blippers who think that they might be able to represent any of the places in the list below in a photograph, or could access location photos from others (e.g. family members, friends) to use in our project. We'd love to hear from you, especially since we currently only have a couple of shots left in our pipeline. Please do check the list and let us know if you could help out with this challenge.
