Winter on Lake Union

Had a solo neighborhood walk with my “long’ lens today hoping for some great bird photo….or?    Sat on a bench by the Fairview bridge but only Canadian geese, cormorants and this group of mergansers were to be seen.    I don’t usually get this angle on the Aurora bridge close up so there’s lots of details (no cars!) and the small floating home community near it and all those sailboat masts!   
It was this or the spice cupboard I cleaned out today.   I found a lovely unopened bottle of garlic infused olive oil with a date or 2012 on it….and another unopened  syrup from 2011.   what do you think?   usable?   I did throw away a bunch of old herbs and spices….:-)
