Warm Legs

After the rain and floods, came frost and ice. So it was a slightly hazardous morning dog walk, made safer by a diversion into the meadow. The waterlogged ground was frozen which made the going easier for me, and Merlin enjoyed eating the ice and frozen mud!

Later Andy popped Merlin to the vet to have his sore lips/jowls assessed. The vet thinks it is an allergy. We are not sure. So we have a process to work through to try to figure out what is going on. I’ll start on that tomorrow as I need to plan what to do first.

To relax this evening after a slightly frustrating day at work, I’ve had an extended walk around the village in the icy air, followed by a warm bath, and am now in cosy in bed wearing my leg warmers! Having not worn such things since the 1980s, I purchased a set this winter to wear in bed to keep my calf muscles warm and stop restless legs. They have worked a treat. I think they look reasonable too!
