The 7 Tuns

Today we met some friends for lunch in The Seven Tuns pub in Chedworth, not far from here, and the food was really good.  One of our friends said they had read Giles Coren's review not long ago in which he waxed lyrical about how good the food was so we thought we'd give it a try.  We weren't disappointed.

The water emanating from the spring opposite the pub apparently originates in Wales - or so we were told when my parents came to live in Chedworth in 1981.  Wherever it comes from, I've never seen it gushing as much as it was today!  Another view in extras.
