Twisty

Today we visited two of our most long-standing friends (I’m avoiding the world ‘oldest’). They live in the northern suburbs of Sydney and this Sydney Red Gum (Angophora costata) tree, with twisty trunk and branches, grows just behind their house. Rana and I have known them for at least 60 years. We all spent our teenage years in the area where they still live. Old friends are good friends.
