Estate Cottages.

A trip to Coneysthorpe this afternoon for a wander towards Castle Howard. The village houses a lot of the workers employed by Castle Howard. These are tied cottages owned by the estate and rented to the staff. If you look closely the houses are all painted the same. 

It is a lovely village on the edge of the Howardian Hills and popular with walkers exploring the area. The Walker was joining a group of ladies just off camera. 

Very cold but good to see some blue sky.
