Winter season hardly begun?!?!

This afternoon, during a walk between showers, I found this bunch of crocuses on the main road through the neighborhood where I live.

They were sheltered by a very low concrete wall separating the sidewalk from the front garden of a house. The flowers defy the rain showers that have lasted more than a week, water cold, gusts of wind and, last but not least, children's eager picking hands.

I focused the lens on the flowers I hope to open fully in the next days.
