Cross Fell

I don’t want to get too technical here but this is the rare phenomenon called a cloudless blue sky …

Snow fell and, with the roads being so wet, ice lay underneath. I checked the road webcams first thing and rang AgeUK to let them know as they’d had none in the south. They decided to cancel the planned deliveries in the north of the county and I didn’t fancy venturing out so walked across to Acorn Bank and over to Culgaith and back.
The duvet cover on the washing line was frozen solid when I got back.
