Kept waking up last night.  Partly because  of the cold and the hound scrabbling at his bed.  

Chilly wind on our dog walk this morning.  Later Monday market shop.  Town was quiet this morning.  The potholes en route are expanding and deepening daily. 

Had an early afternoon dog walk as there was very little sunshine and the temperature was dropping. 

Had to replace a lightbulb in the standard lamp where I sit in the living room.  Yesterday it was flickering annoyingly and I could hear a high pitched sound from it.  Today it's become dim so I replaced it with a different bulb which has a warm almost yellow glow and exudes some warmth just like a good old incandescent bulb. 
The new style bulbs never last long for their price.  Another item to add to the list.

It's the second bulb that's gone.  The other is a fluorescent tube under kitchen cabinets.  I had no idea until it went that fluorescent tubes are being replaced by LED tubes.  In replacing it I have to consider a 'colour' of light.  Who knew?!  This means a trip to B&Q on my bike when it's not wet or windy.  

Now to catch up on Happy Valley.
