A better day

I have also backblipped Saturday's A tiny strip of blue .... hope you will have a look ..... thanks to those who already have :-)

We saw sunshine today ...... thankfully the wind was a little less cold & blustery.

There were several small groups of people & plenty of shouting going on. Intrigued we climbed up onto the bank to have a look. This is what greeted us!

It was The Boston Head of the River race .... an annual event.
The Boston Head of the river is held on the third Sunday of each January. We run a 5k division and a 3k division on the same stretch of water as the GB squad trials. The conditions are normally benign and are suitable for everyone from elite to those doing their first event.

Thought this would make a rather different blip from my usual offerings ..... hope you like it :-)
