Snowdrops at last

A u3a open meeting this afternoon with an excellent speaker; he gave a talk on Wildlife in Epping Forest. There were a lot of similarities between his bird and animal wildlife and the ones we get in our garden. We do not get the beautiful fungi that he showed and I have to admit I did not look at the snake pictures.
 
Today’s picture is of the first Snowdrops to appear with any white on them; they are not in the place where the first ones usually appear first.
 
The temperature at noon today was two degrees Celsius.
