Odd Starting Time

I mean 16:33?  What?  It means something to someone.  But not me.

This has to do with Karneval/Fastnacht/Fasching - and from what I've seen and heard it's unfunny people getting on stage to be unfunny and everyone laughing anyway.  And with a band where the trombone player punctuates all the jokes.

Not really my thing.  

But it is a huge thing here.  And this might be the first year where it all happens again - I expect mayhem in Mainz on the 20th February.  Another good day to stay at home.

As was today.  Apart from a short excursion.  We're doing German Rain - lots of it and not inviting.  Staying warm and dry is a good thing. 

I foresee an early bed.
