Here come the Alps

Excitement mounting as our train slowed down after Lyons (less than 2hrs for over 300 miles) and the first peaks appeared. When we got to Les Saisies after a final bus ride it had turned dark and we were so grateful when the chalet agency lady gave us all a lift in her car, rather than wait for the shuttle bus.
