Komatsu and the Cat?s

A trip to the opencast again tonight, this time from the south side of the site. I now know why the road is closed. This little monster, a Komatsu PC3000 Face Shovel, has carved a huge hole in the ground right where the road used to be.

Much better spot to see what is going on but by the time I found it the light was a bit poor. Maybe an excuse to return another time.
