Bird of prey

Yesterday l went with my birdie group out into the Essex countryside to Abberton Reservoir.  It was very cold but l was very snuggy with several layers of thermals on.  I was surprised by just how many birds were making this place their temporary home, they all seemed to congregate in certain places reminding me a little of barnacles clustered on the rocks.  My main image is of a Kestrel.
