The old man

Story about the old man.

He was made ward of the state and taken from his mother in his early teens. As a consequence of this, he decided to ditch the family name (Brischke) and take one he liked (Lorimer).
When retirement come around and the paperwork for his retirement started to be processed it was revealed that Lorimer was not his name.

So he actually had to go and change his name by deed poll to the one he had chosen all those years ago!

It is a bit weird knowing that your surname should be something different.
