Lily

I walked down to the neighbours to do their chores (they are on holiday), on the way back I noticed my lily looking rather lovely, squeezing its way through the foliage of the Kowhia tree....some poor planting management on my part some years back....

Busy day, hot day......went out into the garden early to do some, while Doug harvested the black currants.
We then set to and took off all the stalks, a thankless task.  15 kg of currants, I made jam with 3 kg, and the rest is in the freezer for more jam or jelly.
