The sun came out so Caelan and I went for it - a quick hack at Sopwell. It was like the old days seeing these two in the trailer together . Bobby is 26 and been taking it slower in last few years due to some obstructive airway disease . Not today . His famous fast extended trot was dusted off and he wasn’t for any kind of slowing thank you very much - he’s amazing . And so is Susan for giving him such a good and healthy life . Ride took ages because we ended up chatting to so many nice dog walkers who were also enjoying the brief sun and quite rightly admiring our fantastic ponies :0)
It then rained quite a lot and we got quite a lot wet - horsey women are used to dealing these things ( on the whole)!! Home for hot bath and dinner made by Hubs and freshly laundered bedding - a grand and blessed day :0)
