Rainy Day

I've been saving the amaretti tin for a rainy day. Sadly, the same does not apply to the amaretti, which I devoured many years ago; it's just a pretty tin, now used for storage. I love amaretti, and also amaretto, croissants aux amandes, madeleines, stollen and probably almost anything made with almonds. 

It was a truly miserable day, and I avoided stepping outside at all. I did a few jobs, helped J with some things, nothing of note.
