River Scene

An early walk for Maisie and me. The small bridge downstream is part of the Blenheim Riverside Railway. That railway trip on a very narrow gauge track is very popular for family groups and visitors.
I’ve had a frantically busy day organizing all the gear for my holiday in Kaiteriteri. James was a great help and our house-sitter is settling in brilliantly. James and I finally set off for Kaiteriteri around 5.pm. We made very good time getting there around 8.pm. Margaret had arrived yesterday, Saturday , and had set up the caravan really well. I couldn’t do the blip last night… this is a back-blip, as I kept falling asleep.. But … yay we are here!
