Stuff

Fairly leisurely start reading the papers and having a cup of tea then down to P’s. Let him list off all the things he needs done then gradually started to tackle them. Most fairly straightforward, but as always we had problems with usernames and passwords on some things.
I did some shopping for him, made lunch (he ate a tiny amount), cleaned the carpets where various drinks have spilled then hoovered around before leaving him to watch some football and no doubt sleep. Mt called whilst I was still there and P delighted to hear Mx had won his first tennis game and to see AR’s first big tooth coming through (extra).
Arranged to meet T and we went to Ampthill for a late pub lunch and have a pretty wide ranging state of the nation conversation. Before we went in we had a wander around the second hand/vintage shop which has several floors of furniture, glasses, clothes, jewellery etc etc…..nothing that we fancied though and the furniture was pretty pricey! Stayed for quite a while in the pub then home and he snoozed whilst Kt and I looked at home swap options.
When T woke up we went up to MK city centre to go bowling and went for a drink and a snack beforehand as we had to wait for the bowling…so busy! Played Connect 4 at the bar then back to bowl. Funny how you quickly think one ball is your lucky one, complain about way the balls always seem to curve off to one side and get very competitive. Only one strike…T’s last ball of the game! Good fun though…then home and straight to bed!
