Playfair Library

At a conference at the University of Edinburgh for a few days and the conference dinner was this evening. The venue was the Playfair Library in Old College and today's blip is the layout of the conferences dinner under the vaulted ceiling of the library.

William Playfair (1759 – 1823) was a Scottish engineer and political economist. Apparently he invented the pie chart.
